Biography
I graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BSC in Music Technology. However, life took a different path.
With over 8+ years experience, I’ve created intuitive digital experiences within luxury e-commerce as well as agency side for clients in varied sectors such as education, sport, utilities, retail, construction, manufacturing, IT, healthcare and others.
I gained ample experience with art, photography & videography direction while working agency side and thrived doing so.
Currently working within e-commerce for the UK’s largest retailer of luxury watches and jewellery – The Watches of Switzerland Group, which comprises Goldsmiths, Mappin & Webb, Watches of Switzerland, Mayors, Betteridge, Analog:Shift and Hodinkee.
I’m passionate about creating simple, intuitive and engaging user experiences that solve real problems and improve people’s online experience. Proficient in wireframing, research, analysis, web design, UX/UI product design, A/B testing, user testing and more.
I’m always looking for new challenges and opportunities to grow as a designer to help build, contribute, and be a part of new, innovative and impactful digital products and services. I have an interest in business and commercials, the way ideas turn into real-world products and services. I’m curious about how companies operate, from the big decisions down to the smallest details.
I appreciate a gripping TV series, movies and a thoughtful story telling plot. My background is in music — a drummer at heart, learned guitar previously, but currently learning piano and how to sing. I appreciate a city break, country escape, being outdoors, as well as having a keen hobby in various photography styles including portraits, lifestyle, architecture and culture which can be viewed here. In 2017 I took two months to travel South East Asia, where I kept a diary, and created an online visual documentation of the trip which can be viewed here.

Over the years, my agency work has enabled me to establish a keen interest in art, video and photography direction as well as build some wonderful online website experiences.
Transitioning from a traditional digital agency focusing on multiple client types, to in-house within retail and e-commerce has enabled me to understand online shopping purchasing habits and adapt experiences for the luxury client.
